Lexcel is looking for a minimum 5 years experienced Plumbing Engineer/ Designer who has an interest in the design/ drafting of building Plumbing systems, like Storm, Sanitary, Domestic Water, natural Gas and Fire Protection Systems for a variety of design projects such as office, retail, education, industrial and multi-family residential. Your responsibilities will include:

● Design and draft building Plumbing & Fire Protection systems under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
● Prepare plans (in AutoCAD), Riser Diagrams, Details and specifications for bidding and construction
● Participate in project coordination with the Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Civil Engineering disciplines
● Prepare Filing sets for Backflow preventers as per NYC DEP requirements

This position is for an Engineer/ Designer who is:
● Willing to learn and produce quick results.
● Accuracy and speed are prime requirements.
● Able to communicate through email, text, read scanned marked up drawings and draw in AutoCAD accurately.
